Note: While the Weasel defense was steady throughout most of this game (including a nice Pete to Neil to Brandy double-play in the first inning), the offense faltered up until it was almost too late. Going into the top of the 7th inning, the Weasels trailed 8 to 1. Games are called after 7 innings, unless there is a tie -- thus, the Weasels knew this was likely their last at bat. The offense emerged from its slumber and the Weasels errupted for 9 runs, giving them a 10-8 lead going into the bottom of the 7th. Crestview Home Repair struck back for exactly 2 runs, tying the game and sending it into extra innings. The 8th inning was scoreless, and in the 9th inning the Weasels managed to score 4 runs while Crestview Home Repair only added a single run. The remarkable comeback was complete!
