Note: A close game the entire way. Although the Weasels ultimately came up short, there were a couple defensive highlights. In the first inning, there was an opposing runner on first base with nobody out. The batter singled to left field, and the runner advanced to second base. The throw in from the outfield got past the cutoff person, and rolled across the infield. The runner on second broke for third. Azzy grabbed the ball and threw a bullet to Julienne at third base, who tagged out the runner. The other highlight happened later in the game. There was a runner on second base with fewer than two outs. A fly ball was hit to Phil in left field. The runner on third tagged up and headed home. Phil made a great throw to Carrie at catcher, who tagged the runner out just before they scored.
