Note: A good offensive game for the Weasels. Azzy and Newton each hit two in-the-park home runs, and Carrie hit one as well. Phil hit an "only-in-softball" in-the-park home run. There was a runner on first base and fewer than two outs when he came up to bat. He hit a ground ball that forced the runner at second base. However, the throw to first got away from the first baseman, and the ball was thrown badly around the infield as Phil circled the bases. Newton made a good defensive play, catching a fly ball in shallow left-center field and making a great throw to first base to double off the runner who thought it was going to drop in for a hit. A good game overall for the Weasels -- way to go!
