Notes: In the third inning Greg hit a solo inside-the-park home run, Newton hit an inside-the-park grand slam, and Matt hit a solo inside-the-park home run. In the fourth inning, Greg hit a solo inside-the-park home run. There were some nice defensive plays as well. Both Matt and Patrick made long runs to catch shallow fly balls. Becky fielded a hard hit grounder at third and made a hard but low throw to Amanda at first, who stretched to catch it and record the out. Azzy was at catcher when the batter hit a dribbler a few feet in front of the plate. She was able to field the ball and make a quick, accurate throw to Becky at third base to record a force out there. Thanks to Lindsay H for subbing, and thanks to Lenore for coming out to cheer!
