* - The actual score of the game was 16-15. The umpires incorrectly gave the Spinners 3 runs in the top of the first inning, when in fact they had scored 4. The Spinners did not catch this error, so the official final score of the game was 16-14. The scoring below and the statistics kept for the game reflect the actual runs scored. Since the Weasels won by 2 runs, the missing run was not decisive.
Notes: A close game the entire way. Both teams took some free bases (5 walks for the Spinners, 8 walks for the Weasels) and exploited errors made by the other team. The offensive leaders of the Weasels were Matt (2 for 2 with a double and a walk), Tim (1 for 1 with 2 walks), and Lily (3 walks). Shawn made a nice catch running back on a deep fly ball hit by Natalie (subbing for the other team). Thanks to Lily and Kelly for subbing. Great thanks to David and Justin for keeping score.
