Notes: For the first 4 innings of the game, the Weasels were dominating their opponents, leading 17-4 going into the top of the 5th inning. Manifest erupted for 10 runs in the top of the 5th, but the Weasels were able to hang on for the victory. The offensive leaders for the Weasels were Amanda (2 singles and 1 walk in 3 plate appearances), Tom (1 single, 1 double, and 1 walk in 3 plate appearances), and Lindsay H (2 singles and 1 walk in 3 plate appearances). The Ice Weasels outfielders made several nice catches over the course of the game. There were two defensive highlights for the Weasels. In the top of the 3rd inning with one out and runners on first and third base, the batter hit a pop fly into shallow left-center field. Nobody was able to make the catch, but Tim quickly threw the ball in to Zook at second base in time to force the runner coming from first base. In the top of the 4th inning with the bases loaded and two outs, the batter hit a pop-up into foul territory up the first base line. Both Azzy (from catcher) and Amanda (from 1B) sprinted for it, and Amanda was just able to reach the ball in time to make the catch and end the inning.
