Notes: The defensive highlight of the game for the Weasels came in the bottom of the 4th inning with runners on first and second base and one out. The batter hit a ground ball to Jason at shortstop. He ran to second base to force the runner coming from first base, and then threw to Lucy at first base in an attempt to complete the double play. His throw was offline and Lucy ran to retrieve it. Seeing this, the runner who had started on second base rounded third and headed for home. Lucy tracked down the ball and thew to Chris at catcher, but not in time to get the runner. However, while this was heppning, the batter had decided to try for second base. Chris made a strong throw to Becky which beat the runner by several feet. She tagged the sliding runner out to end the inning. The offensive leaders for the Weasels were Tim (3 singles and 1 double in 4 plate appearances) and Shawn (3 singles in 3 plate appearances). Thanks to Azzy (who was out with a hurt back) and Tony for coming out to cheer. Great thanks to Mitch and Zook for keeping score.
