Notes: A tough, close loss for the Weasels. The defensive highlight of the game came in the top of the 2nd inning, with the bases loaded and 1 out. The batter hit a line drive into left field. The runner from third base scored. Zook had fielded the ball and thrown to Chris at SS when the runner from second base rounded third and headed for home. Chris threw to Jason at catcher in time to tag out the runner for the second out of the inning. Jason lined a 1-run triple to right-center field in the bottom of the 2nd inning. Neil hit a line drive into right-center field for a 2-run triple in the bottom of the 3rd inning. The game ended on a sour note, with the Plagiarists' catcher throwing the ball into the outfield in order to run out the clock and ensure there would not be another inning. The offensive leader for the Weasels was Jason (1 single, 1 double, and 1 triple in 3 plate appearances). Thanks to Amanda T for subbing. Great thanks to Mitch and Zook for keeping score.
