Only games that were actually played are considered for this statistic. That is, rainouts and forfeits are not considered, so if a player plays in a game, the next week is a rainout, and then the player plays in the next game, the two non-rained-out games are considered to be consecutive. Thus, even if that player would not have played in the rained out game, it does not count against them.
Furthermore, games are ordered according to season, not strictly chronologically. For example, suppose a large number of rainouts occur in the Spring season, such that the first game of the Summer I season takes place before the final Spring makeup game. In this case, for the purposes of this statistic, all of the Spring games are considered to have happened consecutively, and then the Summer I games -- even though they were not all consecutive chronologically.
Finally, players who attend games but do not play in them do not get credit for attendance.
