It seems like every band ends up covering this song sooner or later. I’ve never heard a cover which comes close to how good the original is, but that doesn’t stop me from listening to every one I find. I’m kind of a sucker for covers. And live albums, much to the then-chagrin of my ex-girlfriend Sarah D.

Anyway, I plan to occasionally post music on here, since I spend a lot of time listening to music and because it is very important to me. I am a believer that artists should be paid for their work, so I will try to avoid posting songs which are available for purchase. That said, I do think some artists can gain fans through this sort of mechanism, so I will also post selected album tracks from time to time (albeit with relatively low mp3 bit rate, to encourage you to buy the music if you like it).

I’m always looking for music recommendations. You can get an idea of my tastes from my last.fm page, but I consider myself pretty open-minded and I love to venture into new genres. So please don’t hesitate to make recommendations!
