Okay, no new pictures, but I've added some links. To the humor links, I added a link to a Homestar Runner hidden secrets site and Penny-Arcade. To the news links I added links to The Center For Public Integrity and C-SPAN. For the past few months C-SPAN has been the most frequently watched station on my television. Were it not for the Simpsons, The Daily Show, and Whose Line Is It Anyway?, my television would perhaps never be switched from C-SPAN. It's very very nice to be able to get complete and unbiased coverage of things that are taking place in the United States, rather than the micro-sound-bites that you get on the news. And there are no commercials, which would almost be enough to tempt me to watch any channel, but C-SPAN is worth it besides. I can't believe I cast votes before watching C-SPAN. Ok, I could go on and on, but I won't. I love C-SPAN. But back to the updates. The last links I added were to a newly create page, my U.S. government links page. My love of C-SPAN has re-sparked in me an interest in public affairs, and as a consequence this new page has links to FirstGov (a centralized resource of government links), The White House, The U.S. Supreme Court, The U.S. Senate, and The U.S. House of Representatives. Happy New Year everyone. The updates have been infrequent for a little while, I know. Now there is a reason for that to change. Why? Well, my birthday is on January 12 (I know you want to send me a present, which is why I've amassed a colossal wish list on amazon.com). So what does that have to do with updates? Well, my parents bought me my birthday gift a bit earlier this year. They headed on over to my amazon.com wish list (hint hint!), and bought me a new scanner. The old one had gone kaput. It arrived a couple days ago, and I am working on scanning in photos. I've already added some new ones to the site, so go check them out. Most of them were added to the top of the picture page. The remaining ones were softball related, and can be found on the softball pictures page. On the softball page, they can be found listed under Tammy's party, Feb 23, 2002 and Spring '02 season, Game 7. So go check those out, and look forward to some more soon. Oh, and it wouldn't hurt to check out my wish list.

The web site is moving over to a new server, because I'm moving up to 500MB of web space instead of 200MB. Due to this move, some people might experience some trouble accessing the site over the next few days. If you continue to have problems beyond that time, please let me know.

People have been telling me for ages that they visited my Amazon.com wishlist and saw all sorts of strange things listen like high chairs and inflatable pools. I have no idea what it was linking to, but it wasn't my wishlist. Anyway, I've corrected that link on my main page, so all of you generous visitors can buy me gifts now. I also added some computer links.

I made some updates to the friends page. First, I updated the links to the pages of Rose, Clare, Laura, Tom, and Trygve. Second, a bunch of the other links had died and I couldn't find any updated links for them. So I created a section at the bottom of the page for those friends whose pages have disappeared: Tammy, Dan, Julie, Lisa, Jim, Johnny, Thierry, Joel, Mike, Sylvia, and Andy. I imagine I'll erase those entries eventually, but for now they can hang out in obscurity at the bottom of the page. If you happen to know an updated URL for any of those poor souls, let me know.

I've added a bunch of upcoming shows. In some cases, I have multiple shows listed on the same date. I've tried to list them in order of my desire to see them. Anyway, I'm doing that in case anyone else uses the page to look for upcoming shows. They may not like my first choice show, but may be interested in one of the other shows.

I created one of those web journal thingies. It's not gonna be a diary, really, just yet another place for me to ramble. Oh, and I added more humor links. And, of course, The Web is always growing.

Two things. First, I reorganized my Everquest links. Since they are consulted pretty frequently, I gave them their own page, which can be reached both from the games links page and the main page. Second, and of more interest to the non-Everquest players, I created a new area on my web page. I'd say it's best described as miscellaneous stuff, but you can check it out and decide for yourself. And to warn you, I get the feeling in my bones that I'll be updating my page over the next couple of weeks. I could be wrong, only time will tell. Just seems like it has lain dormant for too long.

In a bout of wishful thinking, I added a link to my amazon.com wishlist. So buy me something! My birthday is January 12th, you know! I also added some links to my They Might Be Giants page, XTC page, Rushmore page, and Authors page. Kind souls will use some of these newfound links to amazon.com, because any purchases you make via these links will give me money to spend on books, CDs, hookers, alcohol, puppets, lingerie, lincoln logs, and amphibians. In order to be in accord with the law, I'm supposed to let you know that I am an association with Amazon.com. So keep that in mind. I buy lots of stuff from them -- I ought to be associated with them. Oh, and I also added some quotes.
